Don’t compromise yourself

it’s all you’ve got. “Almost every man wastes part of his life in attempts to display qualities he does not possess” (Samuel Johnson). Don’t let your life be a continual straggle to be what you are not, and to do what you should not.
“The more you are like yourself, the less you are like anyone else” (Wait Disney). You’re like a tree – you must put forth the fruit that’s created in you.

You can’t be common

The common go nowhere. You must be uncommon to be a champion. Your responsibility is not to remake yourself, but to make the absolute best of what you’re remake yourself, but to make the absolute best of what you’re made of.

We can’t reach our destiny taking another man’s road.

If you never walk except where you see another person’s tracks, you will make no new discoveries for yourself. “Do not follow where the path may lead-go instead where there is no path and leave a trail” (Unknown).

Trying to be like someone else-defeating

One of your main purposes in life is to give birth to yourself. Depend on what the book of Romans says, “God has given each of us an ability to do certain things well,”

“Be yourself

Who else is better qualified?” (Frank Giblin). Ask yourself these questions. If I try to be like him, who will be like me? If I’m not me, who will I be? The more you develop your potential, the less you will become like someone else. As long as you are trying to be like someone else, the best you can ever be is number two

Avoid following the crowd

Be an engine, not a caboose. As Herman Melville wrote: It is better to fail in originality than to succeed in imitation.” Average people would rather be wrong than be different.

Conformity is the enemy of growth and satisfaction. Did you know you’re destined to be different? Dare to be different and follow your own star.

GIVE BIRTH TO YOURSELF

Do you want to stand out in the world? Then be yourself. Be what you really are. This is the first step toward becoming better than what you are now.

You and I are born equal but different. “No man could be ideally successful until he has found his place. Like a locomotive, he is strong on the track, but weak anywhere else” (Orsen Marden). Choose to become yourself.
